ps 130, the parkside school, k-5, brooklyn, ny

PS 130 is an elementary school in Brooklyn, New York. We started working with them in 2007 to establish The PS 130 Online Learning Network, and consult with their technology committee on the development of a school-wide professional development initiative to integrate technology and media education into their curriculum.
In support of that initiative we are developing classroom productions with grade-teams that dovetail with National Educational Technology Standards (NETS), create opportunites to promote media literacy, and support the traditional goals of each classroom. Each production is published by students to their Online Learning Network along with support resources for teachers.
