TMS collaborates with The Generation Connection for the 5th time
Clip of the Day: Generations Connecting on Tape!
TMS will be working on location for the fifth year in a row at The Generation Connection, a "camp on wheels" that brings together 8-15 year old kids with active senior citizens for a variety of activities all over central Florida. A regular feature of the camp has been video production with TMS, where campers and seniors videotape daily experiences and edit their footage into documentary-style "Clips of the Day" throughout the week. This will be Andy's second trip out from Seattle to work with me on the Clips of the Day. The fast-paced camp gives us a tremendous opportunity to create new TMS video production units providing hands-on experiences for multiple students on the go.
The Clips of the Day allow us to share each day's experiences with parents over the Internet, and provide TGC with organic and dynamic promotional material, while increasing campers' awareness of the "constructedness" of media and allowing them to express their experiences over the Internet as authors.
