In March of 2012 I spoke to a class at Columbia Teachers College Graduate School of Education about the potential for project-based learning in K-12 schools through the incorporation of digital media production, and the importance of including media literacy concepts in such efforts. I used the interactive mind map on the left to guide our discussion and link to project examples, resources and a few online activities we did together in class, and made it public as a living resource for the students (and YOU!) Below the map are a few readings I had the class go over before I came in.
