Rhys Daunic of The Media Spot will be participating as a faculty workshop leader at the Summer Institute on Digital Literacy at the University of Rhode Island July 14-19, 2013.

In a nutshell, there will be inspirational talks from visiting media literacy luminaries each day (starting with Douglas Rushkoff), followed by breakout sessions to experiment with cool tools, and dig deeper into concepts in small groups facilitated by media literacy pros. Each day also includes workshop time in the design studio to develop project-based instructional plans to take back to your community.
