Rhys Daunic of The Media Spot gave a “Cool Tool” presentation at the Summer Institute in Digital Literacy 2014 at the University of Rhode Island.
WHAT IS EXPLAIN EVERYTHING?
It’s a $2.99 flexible iPad app that can be used as an interactive white board or slate, screencasting, marking up documents or passages of text, analyzing images or video*, slide-based multimedia presentations, video recording and mixing, creating collages, and more. It combines several features of other apps which makes it slightly more complicated to learn, but powerful! *beware that video playing within a browser that is online cannot be recorded in a screencast on Explain Everything at this time. You have to have the video on your iPad to record over it.
