A Message on Equality from Bronx 5th Graders
Each 5th-grade student in Ms. Averill’s class at PS 32 in The Bronx wrote poems using a graphic organizer with prompts to answer the question, Why not Equality? They worked with TMS a few days before moving on to middle school to film and edit this mash-up PSA video using each students’ favorite line to show their families and community at the end-of-year award ceremony. High schoolers engage local police through video production
Students at Innovation Diploma Plus HS crafted these videos to kick off a town hall meeting with members of their local law enforcement community to represent their perspective and start a dialog on police-community relations in gentrifying neighborhoods. (more…)

TMS makes Climate Change Videos with NASA Scientists.
In the summer of 2013 Rhys Daunic of The Media Spot worked with research scientists from NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies and Columbia University’s Earth Institute to create a series of videos as part of HOT: ONE WORLD, ONE CLIMATE, a curriculum developed by Carolyn Harris of RealWorldMatters and Ryan Goble of Making Curriculum Pop! and Mindblue.
