4th and 5th graders from PS 32 in the Bronx filmed as they harvested with the Commish of NY State Department of Agriculture, then worked with TMS to make this video. It is the latest in a series of student productions documenting the growth of their garden, composting and sustainability programs.
Working with students, parents, teachers and Principal Donna Taylor, TMS helped Brooklyn School of inquiry (and donors!) imagine a sustainable rooftop farm for interdisciplinary, hands-on learning to serve students and educators across New York City and beyond. (more…)
The Media Spot is working with 5th grade students at PS 682, The Academy of Talented Scholars (TAOTS), to produce a collection of short documentaries that tell the history, share the curriculum, and capture the school experience from the students perspective.
