Working with students, parents, teachers and Principal Donna Taylor, TMS helped Brooklyn School of inquiry (and donors!) imagine a sustainable rooftop farm for interdisciplinary, hands-on learning to serve students and educators across New York City and beyond.
The Media Spot is working with 5th grade students at PS 682, The Academy of Talented Scholars (TAOTS), to produce a collection of short documentaries that tell the history, share the curriculum, and capture the school experience from the students perspective. The latest installement in this process was carried out as an Enrichment Cluster* titled Document This!
Students at The Academy of Talented Scholars produced a series of documentary videos collaboratively scripted across 3 classes that share their perspectives on their school. The grade-wide collaborative project began at the end of their 4th-grade year and continued into their 5th.
